Abstract

This study investigated earlier research on "intrapreneurial intensity" and demonstrates where the area stands in terms of current research. The Bibliometric analysis was used to analyze the 367 documents on "intrapreneurial intensity" from the Scopus database between 2009 and 2023. The information obtained was then investigated in terms of publishing periods, nations, journals, authors, and affiliations with organizations. The "VOSviewer" tool was used to display the trends that could be observed in the research area. The significant articles and research areas on "intrapreneurial intensity" are highlighted in this study, and a bibliometric analysis is performed to investigate the way the field has developed over time. This article provides a "visualization analysis" of recently reported publications to evaluate the current state of the research on intrapreneurial intensity. The figures indicate that over the previous fifteen years, there had been a consistent increase in the number of published articles. In this area of research, the United States contributes the most, closely followed by the United Kingdom and Spain. This research paper provides an up-to-date assessment of the rapidly growing field through the use of bibliometric analysis, which might also guide corporate executives to recognize the latest advances when trying to formulate strategies to deal with the increasing demands for intrapreneurship in addition to the potential future hubs of study in this area.
